We started during the pandemic, 3D printing what was needed when supply chains stopped working. That is still roughly the job: notice the thing that should exist, then make it before anyone has finished arguing about whether it can be done.

Partnership, not procurement

We work alongside your team rather than taking a brief and disappearing for three months. Clients tell us it feels like having an extra department, which is exactly the intention.

Honesty before the invoice

If your idea will not work, or does not need us, we say so early. A short honest engagement is worth more to both of us than a long one built on politeness.

You own everything

Source code, CAD files, schematics, infrastructure accounts. All yours from day one. We want to be re-hired because we were good, not because leaving is painful.

  • North Sea Round Town Every year since 2022 — the Hazard Ensemble at the Tropicana, an installation at the Margarinefabriek, and the Night Program concerts in the Laurenskerk, 2024 to 2026.
  • Batafest Lighting and stage for the festival at the Batavierhuis in Rotterdam, every year since 2023.
  • Droom en Dat Light for more than twenty performances at the 2TO2 festival in the Batavierhuis, a national monument in Rotterdam, 2022.
  • Noordpool Orkest Lighting set-up and show operation for the theatre tour "Elvis Never Left the Building, Part II", 2022 to 2023.
  • Blink Quartet Light script and bird-flock projections for a performance in Utrecht, written scene by scene with the musicians.
  • The Office People Light installations for RITUS, a collective reflection on the colonial past, in Historisch Delfshaven, 2023.
  • Hazard Ensemble Lighting and pre-visualisation for a performance at the Tropicana, Rotterdam, 2022.
  • Bonsai Panda Lighting for the band's concert in the Armeniuskerk, Rotterdam, 2022.

  • Rosca Scarlato — Investor Lawyers Website for a US law firm that recovers investment losses for investors.
  • Medi Nova Website for an Italian supplier to the livestock sector, in Italian, English and Spanish.
  • Union des Consuls à Rotterdam et La Haye Website for one of the oldest consular associations in the Netherlands, founded in 1906, built in 2019 when it merged with its sister association in The Hague.
  • Sherlocked Amsterdam escape rooms — rebuilding the Orb, a centrepiece prop, to survive thousands of players a year.
  • JG Ligatures Manufacturing 3D-printed saxophone ligatures as a sellable range.
  • Jeanine Verloop Artist behind CHIME, a kinetic glass sculpture driven by infrasound.
  • Hohum Lab Designed and 3D-printed the cases for the Axoctrl, their first commercial synth controller, in a batch of 50+.
  • Music Production Academy A near-zero-budget renovation of the Rotterdam academy: an anamorphic logo, cube lamps and LED line lights that show which classrooms are free.

Fairs, exhibitions and events

  • Hola 2020 2020 Our own night at the studio — live electronics, a clarinet loop set, two DJ sets and a light show we designed for it.
  • OBJECT Rotterdam 2020 February 2020, weeks before the lockdown — a stand at the design fair's last edition in the HAKA building: an anamorphic illusion to pull people in from across the hall, and printed pedestals with lamps you could take apart.
  • Ventura Future, Milan Design Week 2020 Selected for Ventura Future 2020 at BASE Milano. When Milan was cancelled, the show moved online with Dezeen's Virtual Design Festival.
  • EDIT Napoli 2020 The design fair in Naples, with our 3D-printed lamps.
  • Boijmans Open Call 2022 Many and the Same, with Latisha Sparks, won the museum's open call and was shown at Zuid-Boijmans.
